PTE (Pearson Test of English) is an English language proficiency exam designed by Pearson, a global education company. It is accepted by universities, colleges, and governments around the world for admission, visa, and immigration purposes.

The PTE exam consists of four sections:

  1. Speaking and writing: This section evaluates your ability to speak and write in English. You will be required to complete tasks such as reading aloud, describing an image, and writing an essay.

  2. Reading: This section evaluates your ability to read and comprehend written English. You will be required to read passages and answer multiple-choice questions.

  3. Listening: This section evaluates your ability to listen and comprehend spoken English. You will be required to listen to audio recordings and answer multiple-choice questions.

  4. Integrated skills: This section evaluates your ability to use multiple skills together, such as reading and speaking or listening and writing.

The exam is computer-based and takes around 3 hours to complete. The test is scored on a scale of 10-90, with 10 being the lowest and 90 being the highest. The scores are valid for up to two years.
